Castle Hill orienteering

Castle Hill orienteering.

A range of orienteering courses available, with something to suit everyone, from beginners to experts. It includes easy courses for those who are new to the sport and would like to give it a go. All welcome! Event suitable for the whole family. 

Entries:

Pre-entries are preferred for all PAPO events.
Entries will open approx 2 weeks prior to the event.
Pre-entries close: Wednesday prior to event date.

Limited enter on the day will be available. Enter on the day will be charged at non-member prices for all entries.

All entries to be paid by credit/debit card at time of entry via the entry system (EnterO).
Helpers on the day and PAPO members paying with VIP points can choose the VIP points option when paying.

Travel and Parking

Travel and parking directions to be confirmed.
Event registration and start area will be adjacent to parking (to be confirmed).

Event timetable:

Registration: From 10am
Start times: 10.30am – 12.30am.
Course closure: 2.30pm
Electronic Punching: SI Air+ will be turned on for this event, bring your SI Air card if you have one. For those without an SI Air card (and anyone hiring a SI card) punch in the usual manner.

Accommodation in Castle Hill

PAPO has booked the STAC Lodge  in Castle Hill village for the night of Saturday 1st Nov, providing a great opportunity for competitors to stay together and be social.

• The costs for STAC Lodge are $40 per senior, $30 per junior.
• Camping will be available outside STAC Lodge, but only once the beds inside have been filled, $15 per person. 

Bookings for accommodation will open in September.
Payments for accommodation need to paid online to the PAPO bank account: Westpac 03-0823-0425931-00 (PENINSULA AND PLAINS ORIENTEERS). Include your name in the Particulars and CHACCOM in the reference. Bookings are confirmed once payment is received.
